"Can I get 99 tacos for 2 cents?"
I can hear him now at Jack In The Box.

Gavin,
I ordered my tires on the 1st and was assured they would leave the Hoosier warehouse that day... UPS tracking shows them leaving on the 5th and not scheduled to arrive until Friday end of day. So the good news for you is I can bring Terran's set if yours don't make it. Bad news is that I won't get there until late Friday night. Someone save me a spot near power please.

Looks like the weather will hold off until Tuesday. We will be long gone by then.
Please hold space for Ron. Thank you.

Thanks Toad. I also ordered on the 1st. Tires are getting delivered to Ian so hopefully they arrive before he leaves for T-Hill. I also wont be there until Friday evening so if someone could save a spot near power for me too it would be appreciated. Thanks.

The event went well for two, Brian Swanson aka " Toad " and Gavin Sweeney, both of whom successfully completed their first National weekend with wins. Toad grabbed his in the first and Gavin in the second. A little thanks must go to Ethan Sweeney as he backed off at the end of the second race and allowed the three lead Vee's an additional lap to see who would win. Congratulations on a successful, but sad weekend.

"..A little thanks must go to Ethan Sweeney"
Did the Sweeney's just adopt Ethan? If we did, as his big brother, I'm taking his racecar!

HA! Well I'm honored to be a part of the fam! Although if there are to be the brothers' Sweeney driving my Van Diemen that I'll make a nameplate on the side of my car to be written in dry-erase marker so you'll all know which of the now-three of us are in it that weekend. And to be honest Bruce, I will admit to backing off mostly cuz I had the best seat in the house to watch that final lap of the vee race!

While the turnout was a bit wimpy, and the weather very challenging, Sunday was beautiful and the racing clean. Brian led the fields both days and it was great to see Larry and Jeff return to the track in a vee. It's off to Laguna for those who don't attend the Super Tour National at Buttonwillow.
