Well as of this moment we have one new Vee Driver going through school this Feb/March, the lovely Liz Tatum. The good Dr. Evial, Jeff Canfield, may be certified long before then.
I know of at least one chap I spoke to today who is in the market for a car after meeting all the gang in the garages.
So are there any other newbies set to go? Mr. Scott Wake perhaps?

Ok I know you are out there, I can here you dieting (no wait...that's just me!)
School is just on the horizon and I'd like to know if any of those attending this year are in need of anything specific.
As of right now I know of 4 vees going through school, inclusing the Dreaded VIPER from Team Elf, any last minute thought or requests from the newbies?

Marty, I'm working on getting all the rain to happen this week versus next, but no flooding allowed Can anyone tell me approximately how much fuel I'll use each day of school? Tom

figure 2 to 2.5 gallons per session. I'd take 10 gallons to be sure.

Brian, does a session = "1 day"?

haven't seen the schedule yet but look for at least three a day. If you run short on fuel, you can run down to the WIllows airport and buy more.

Brian, just trying to set up my school life I already have 10 gallons of fuel. If you say 2 - 2.5 per session at 3 sessions per day X 3 days, that = 20 gallons, not 10, right? No problem, I just have to bring some additional cans. Now if it was only 10 gallons, I'd be set. Tom

Haven't seen the schedule yet but generally there a bit short of 20 minutes and usually not at full throttle. Hence the 10 gallons. The airport is right on the way to the motels.

Marty, looks like you were able to fill Dante's order for ice water and I was able to switch the rain from this week to last week! The 10 day forecast keeps going up a degree or two every day for this coming Sunday. If this continues, it will be in the 80's Just kidding! But the 10 day looks sensational! Brian, I've got 10 gallons, because those were all the containers I had. Fun to go to the airport and pay $2.69 versus twice that much or more! Ian, thanks for the good wishes. I hope everyone has a good time! Oh, BTW, where can we place our beacon, on the paddock side of the track or the left side of the track? Tom

Beacons go on the wall Tom (Just got back from shuttling Perrier to Perdition). I will be there on Friday night.
If anyone needs anything in the way of oil or generic race stuff let me know before tomorrow and I will get it from stock (if we have it) and deliver at the track.
As of this moment Team Elf/Viper is ready to go.

Well, I arrived at Thunderhill this afternoon for school. B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l weather, I had to take my sweatshirt off. You have to remember I live in the mountains at 4000 ft and we still have snow on the ground! Jeff (Polara) is here with his Vee (we got a garage) and his buddy Mark, who is going to driv e a CSR. I finally got to drive my car in the paddock- strange to buy a car and not get to drive it until school I'm fueled and ready for 7:00am! Tom

Good luck everyone. I am sick and probably won't make it up. I'll see all of you at the season opener.
