Bob, how come the average speed from Pasadena is 80MPH and only 60MPH from Infineon ? Could it be because people are in a bigger hurry to get out of LA? Is this some kind of test to see if we are paying attention? Were you a algebra teacher at one time?

my bad.....it's the conversion thing from metric to reality 1200 ++ miles from Pasadena. I've driven it enough times, sister lives there. It's not a bad drive for 2 drivers, and a stop at Granzella's in Williams (no relation) for the BEST deli on the west coast. Just ask the Posner's!!!

Bob - What's the deal with the schedule? Is it changing? Thought I heard we may be the main event since the GT1, etc guys aren't getting a good field. Heck, we're blowing everyone away. FV is over 25% of all entries for the weekend!

Just got home from another amazing weekend put on by everyone at F.A.R.T. Those of you that didn't go missed out on one of the best events put on by any group in amateur open wheel racing. Im telling you, Scott, Bob, Pam, Jennifer, and everyone else at Family Affair Racing Team works tirelessly for months on end to put this together. From the custom awards every year, to the Saturday night dinner, to seeing Al Ores come back from heat stroke at d**n near 80 years old to finish mid-pack, THIS is what this whole waste of money racing disease is all about. Great friends, great racing, and a great time. Hats off to those guys in the Great White North for another memorable weekend. See you next year (but, can someone aside from Dennis win at some point?)!!

Well, the event is history and well worth the effort. 1st Dennis A.2. Q. Posner 3. B. Posner. Not only did some receive tow money, there were gifts galore. Snap On, Interstate Batteries, CIP parts and others contributed not only to a killer goodie bag but Sat. night after a great Mexican dinner, yea the Canadians like Mexican too, they handed out some more gifts. Next year is the 50th and maybe if you can't tow to all the way across the country this will be a great alternative.

Thanks to everyone that made the long tow to get up here, it was great to see you! Dennis has a Portuguese bone and I see that as a clear sign that the Portuguese were meant to win the F.A.R.T. events. If I get my shtuff together for next year, I plan to fulfill my destiny of becoming the natural successor to Dennis' domination of this event!

This may be a bit late, but I just got back from vacation. We just wanted to thank all our competitors, sponsors and everyone else that made this race such a success! Congratulations to Dennis Andrade for winning for the second time in a row, Quinn Posner 2nd place and Bob Posner for 3rd. Also, our First Place in the Vintage class was Jim Cutts. There were 27 FVees, a couple of Vintage Vees switched over to race with us which was totally cool! We have such a blast putting this race on, and plans are already in the works for next year's race! We will let you know a date once we secure one. Hopefully, the weather won't be as hot as it was...that was brutal! Check our Facebook page for pics. Thanks again!
