Anyone that is a member of the SF Region and has a license can take his or her car to Thunderhill on Dec 30th Saturday. How many are planning on going?

I will be attending if the weather cooperates. I have purchased Adam Strattons white Crusader FV #17 My last vee race was in 1989, so I will need the practice

Scott,
Did Adam say if he was getting another car or what his plans were?

I believe that Adam wants to spend more time at home with his family. He did mention that he would like to do a couple of races to keep his license current.

If I get the changes to the car done and I won't have to tread water, I'll be there. No use trying to test if it's wet.

Brian, based on the weather in Topeka this October, I would be doing a lot of wet weather testing if I were you. Maybe you could be the inventor of the "Warm Suit"

Good point Scott. I've done a lot of wet winter testing since many mid west races get rained on. Out West we're spoiled with such perfect weather. I've got some issues that will need dry conditions for testing. I could be available if someoe wants help if I don't go.

Info on test day from SCCA/Thill: "The annual free test day for SFR SCCA members is coming up on December 30, Saturday, at Thunderhill Park. Bring your membership card and competition license or Novice Permit to have a great day testing your race car (sorry, no street cars).
Track gate opens at 7 a.m. for Registration. Track opens at 9 a.m. and will close at approximately 4:30 pm as darkness settles in (lunch is 12 noon to 1 pm)
Come on out to break in your new racing gear or just get in a few last laps around the track in 2006.
Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season. We look forward to seeing you at the track in 2007"

Going on previous years the first session is usually everyone. It is then split between open and fenders with a break for lunch. I think the sessions are 20 to 25 minutes. The first session is at 9 am, and will end around 4:30 pm.

Looks like weather will be partly cloudy with a high of 58. I'm thinking it should be a go.
