From CeCi Smith, Calclub:
SOPAC Drivers we need your opinion!! Recognizing that San Francisco is having a conflicting event at Laguna Seca on the same weekend as Cal Club’s final divisional race; the Cal Club Board is considering canceling that September 13,14 event. We anticipate that many drivers will use that weekend at Laguna Seca to prepare for the October Runoffs. We have been advised that the SCCA will waive the 4 Divisional Weekend requirements for Runoffs qualifications thereby letting 3 SOPAC Divisional weekends meet the participation requirements. Please advise us of your thought as soon as possible we need to let SCCA know by Thursday evening e-mail us calclubhq@aol.com Just want to clear up one point..... the waiver of the 4th required Divisional Event has not been approved yet by SCCA and we are asking for your opionions so we can take it to the SCCA office and ask for this waiver.
Thanks so very much for all your comments, keep them coming!
Thanks to all of you
