Super cheap track time available

Have you thought about taking the your racecar out of the garage and taking it for a spin? How about planning a day or weekend with your vee friends and have a group track day? How about no tire rules, manifold issues or protests? What if I could tell you that for less than a typical test fee, and without spending a ton of money updating your car, you could get back on track? How about a day with your vintage vee without all the fuss and expense of a vintage weekend? All that and more is waiting for you!

SCCA track event programs have been completely revamped and made easier than ever. You can run ANY car in PDX and Club trials. Yes that means the daily driver or mom's car too. If you want to bring the race car, open wheel or not, it will be welcome. If it was safe the last time you drove it, it will likely be accepted today.

You can either just cruise around, test and develop the car or yourself, or, in club and track trials, run against the clock.

I strongly urge everyone to go to SCCA.com, click on Programs then the Track Events link. All the info and rules are there and you can learn just how easy it is to join in.

There will be an event at TH in Oct. and Cal club has events coming up as well. Check it out.

Thanks Brian. That looks like fun. I think we need to know if they will separate open wheel from production or SR/P cars.

As always, car counts govern what the organizer can do. In most of these events passing is closely controlled to certain areas and require hand signals.
