Hi,
I am new to formula vee and just bought a car, however I am too tall for the main hoop and need to find someone who will extend it for me.
I am in Seattle and would appreciate any leads on a good shop in the area that will do the work.
Thanks,
Greg

greg- i know of one shop in puyallup that does AMAZING vintage fabrication and restoration. if they can't do a hoop for you, they could probably steer you in the direction of someone who can. their website hasn't been updated in awhile, but it's got current contact info- J & L Fabricating (253) 845-0617 jandlfabricating.com/-ethan

Thanks for the info people.
qposner,
I bought Chuck Boyce's 1991 Fastech.
I picked it up on Friday and I have been documenting the current configuration, modifying the fuel cell case and prepping to pull the motor (He thinks he spun a bearing in his last race)
I will still need to raise the hoop, fabricate a new gas pedal before I'll be ready for school.
Thanks,
Greg

I know the car. So you are aware, my dad, Bob Posner, is in Bellevue and has been running vees since 1982. I'm sure he would be willing to answer any questions you may have.
