Hey guys-
Some of you may know the Zucchi name. As some of you may or may not know, Angelo was seriously injured in an accident last weekend while testing a car for Sthingy Sports. He is expected to make a full recovery, however, the recuperation time is expected to last the better part of the year.
The Zucchi's have been a part of SF area sports car community for many decades. Arnold, his father, is a brilliantly talented metal worker who has shaped (and re-shaped) the bodies of many Italian sportscars that have come through the doors of his shop for years. Those of you who know the family know their situation lately, and know the care Angelo has provided for his parents in recent years.
There will be a fundraiser held this Saturday, November 22 at 12 noon at the Russell building at Infineon Raceway. Food and beverages will be provided, and there will be raffles for Jim Russell programs. Please come out and support this wonderful family that has been such a cornerstone of the SCCA community. Thanks-
-Ethan Shippert

Thanks to all involved, Saturday's fundraiser went off without a hitch. We had many donated items to raffle off and with the combination of donations and raffles, we were able to raise over $10,000 in about 2 1/2 hours! Thanks to all who donated! -Ethan
