In spite of our letter writing campaign, Cal CLub seems committed to combining our cars with the SRF. I have already written to Ca CLub regarding this issue and would like everyone envolved to do so as well. As of this moment, I have not decided whether to cancel my entry but may very well do so.

I asked on the Cal Club forum why the SRF's couldn't have their own group and combine the SM w/ group 2.

I have withdrawn. They did break up the group and put the SRF in their own group. Thanks to them. I had a vendor let me down and short ship so the car's not ready.

They were not able to split up the group. Qualifying order FV Mark Edwards, Mark Felson, Ron Wake, Charlie Turner, Donald Manthe and Roman Ruiz. Race results FV Ron Wake, Mark Felson, Mark Edwards, Donald Manthe, Charlie Turner and Roman Ruiz. Ron's first National Win. Ethan Shippert won pole and Race FF.
We had a split start SRF's, followed by FF, F500 and FV.

Charlie Turner and Mark Felson. Mark won, Charlie broke a pushrod during the first Regional on Sat. Do not know results on Sun Regional, we left early. I know Charlie didn't run Sun Regional since he left before we did.

Did they run a split start for the regionals? The statement said the split applied to the national.

yep, they did. i thought it was odd that they split the fords behind. there weren't that many of us, but it kindof sucked for the srf's for us to be wading through them so early on. it was still a good weekend once the rain stopped! e

Guess it was because there were more of them. Goodness knows that Cal Club wouldn't favor a club owned class. lol
