Hey guys!
I just wanted to let you know that starting today I will be working with VICTORY LANE magazine in a number of capacities. One of those capacities is working in outreach to Vintage Racers specifically but also to the racing community in general.
Yeah, I know, I will be getting paid to do what we all know I love. I will give you a moment to be jealous...
Then I will say that I am excited to a level I haven't approached since I ran my first race and I am really looking forward to working inside the racing community as a whole. We all know these are tough times for everybody as a whole and racers specifically, but I believe that with good communication and working together we can not only all get our racing "fix" but we can also attract new participants on all levels of the sport.
So here we go! 2011 is here, the holidays are behind us and it is time to look forword to another season
Talk to you later!
Marty

Congrats Marty! Remember the cry of the motorsports journalist, "Eat and drink free or Die!"

Didn't Rob Walker coin that phrase? Like the late Lord Louis Mountbatten said:
"Never turn down a free meal or a chance to relieve your bowels"

The MArch Victory Lane is off to the printers and it is a good one. My first small feature in it about my trip to Buttonwillow for the UNIVERSITY of VARA as well as a feature on some of the new Young Lions of the Vee world.
You can find Victory Lane at Wine Country Motorsports or call the office at 1-800-818-5624 for subscriptions!
