Just so you all know Victory Lane is in final planning for the 2011 Victory Lane Vintage Formula Vee Festival Races again this year, possibly with additional venues. Even before I started at the Magazine I heard nothing but good things about the VARA event last October, the event that was won by our own Aaron Meyer and Twitch...er...Terran Swanson. The reports that came out of Buttonwillow that weekend were awash with praise for the event format, the sanctioning body support and the good fellowship that was felt through out the weekend. (OK, what I heard amounted to "boy those guys know how to party").
Just an FYI for all you current Gen Vee drivers, you are just as welcome over that weekend as the cars are broken down into several classes based on. I will be posting event dates and venues when they are finalized and look forward to seein you all there!

UPDATE:
Mr. Fuchiwaki has challenged me that if I run the event HE will run the event. As it is well know I do not CURRENTLY have a car (but I do know that my Boss owns FOUR). So if I get a car to drive, and swear that I will get in racing trim and relicensed to run the event how many of you guys will come down to join in the fun as well?
Remember, this is a VARA event not an SCCA event so licensing requirements will vary. I will talk to Kim Madrid and see what they would be EXACTLY for the event.

Well I know that the racing division of Toad Hall Enterprises will be running the Formula Vee Challenge event again this year with both team drivers this year and I am taking a wild guess that the DFC team will also be making another appearance. For licensing VARA accepts SCCA regional licenses, so there are no special hoops people have to go through, you just have to sign on the entry form listing the last race you participated in

DFC will be there with two cars also. It should be nothing short of a great time.

Great to hear Scott, Kim told me about how much you have been helping out which is way cool.
I won't have my Dad's car ready this year (shooting for Next Year), but I am looking for a ride of one kind or another. Maybe Jeff and I will bring matching VIPERS? Norm, is planning on dragging his Mysterian down as well.
Anyone else?
