FF Newsletter, yet another July update.
1) BEES/WASPS/YELLOWJACKETS IN THE THUNDERHILL PADDOCK:
Last Tuesday (July 19) at least one of the trees that are in the middle of the Thunderhill paddock (next to the power stations) was full of bees/wasps/yellowjackets such that I had to move my motorhome away from it. This could at least be annoying or at worst life threatening (for someone allergic). When you pick a paddock space look to see if you have a buzzing tree next to it and move away. as reported by Tom Duncan

Has anyone told the staff? They do have sprays for such things.

haha.. if there's one thing that would send me packing would be wasps in the paddock! I hate wasps more than I love racing.. Or anything else, for that matter!

While it was a bit hot, no real nasty bugs. I learned that bugs are like ex wives. Ignore them long enough and they'll go away. Mess with them and they'll sting you every time. ha ha Spoken like a true bachelor.

Is divorce a requirement for a successful racing career? I might have to reconsider this!
Wasps, ex-wifes.. I dunno!

I have a 30+ year old sticker in my tool box that says, " my wife told me she was leaving if I went racing one more time.............................God, I'm going to miss her." It's all in jest, some of my best friends are women.
