Check out this new track in Wa. state near Seattle. It looks fantastic and there's a regional planned for June 2012! www.ridgemotorsportspark.com/

Send an email to the NWR and tell them you want them to run a national there. :-)

I just got a response from the track, they mentioned that the dates are almost filled. Here is a portion of their response to me
thanks for the interest. We are going to get the stats on the webpage soon, but here are the basics. 2.47 mile road course, with dragstrip complex completely separate and own paddock. Both surface can run at the same time in other words, no conficts between user groups (this is huge BTW).
16 Turn (depends on who you ask, I say 13) 500 feet of elevation change, The Ridge drop is 80 feet, the racing surface is 40 feet wide, about 4 feet wider than most tracks, and, it appears at this point, that our first year (2012) is an entire sellout. And we just pave the thing 5 days ago!

Yes, the track doesn't schedule events though. Email the SCCA region NWR and tell them you want a national scheduled. :-)

If I remember econ 101 correctly, it sounds like we need more tracks. Competing with Infineon at $28 k a day shouldn't be that hard. Great to see this development.

OK, I want my racecar back. Something for everyone, even saw a bit of corkscrew flavor.

We miss you Laury. Buy Ron Bonham's Tsunami. I believe it is for sale since he's moving to a P2. :-)
