The new (Dec 19) schedule gives TWO Nationals in March and then TWO Rational @ Sears/Infineon (I think). I need more info to confirm dave

I didn't see it either, but I was told it there. That's why I said I need more info to confirm.

Dick, The mean greens were discontinued, but have been replaced with a comparable material. You can get them directly from Carbotech here www.ctbrakes.com Call them, you may have to send cores, that is what I got from them last year at the Runoff's. Or you can call Ron Chuck.

There will be a double rational at Infinieon July 6-8. If your regional class requires a spec tire, and you want to enter both N & R, and receive points in both, you will need to run your spec tire and do your best in the national. Unfortunately, if you run national tires, your regional results won't earn you points. As per SR supps.

Way cool for the rational part, bummer bout the tire rule part. Anyone up for a gentlemens agreement for running the AR's for national points? cause I would like to go for both sets of points

Terran, Tires are free in Nationals for FV. You can run AR's and score points in both. However do not expect to be running with the front runners. You will be handicapping yourself.

Bruce, I was just thinking about the Infineon rational with that idea, not every national. Didn't want to give up regional points in case I miss another regional weekend, if I'm in the running for the SFR championship

I know, but what would be their incentive. Buy a tire they would not use again.

Bruce is right and it only applies if you want to score points in both events. As I mentioned before, since the spec tire rule is in the supps, it will stand. The other option is to run a national tire in the spec regional which would not be fair. It's one of the minor details we're learning about rationals.
