11 vees are entered, $370 for entry and it will include a free dinner. It's worth the tow down I-5 to run the newly repaved track. Records will fall! Entries close Wed. the 24th.

Weekend went well. It was hot, 90-91. Track was slick. Racing was good. Dennis won on Sat, with Ron and Gavin in FV. Stan lead for half a lap, giving a sign that more would follow. DZ, first time at the track, never got comfortable. Sunday saw the emergence of TADPOLE. He took the pole and never was challenged after everyone had to check up in the race. He drove intelligently and the next time he stands on the podium he will be allowed to shower his fellow competitors with champagne. At the other end we saw the comeback of Stan Townes, he drove just as well after qualifying third he ran down the field and won driving away. Congratulations to all.

I have to second Bruce's assessment. In spite of having to herd cats all weekend with my car, it was a great weekend. The track was very demanding and resulted in several critical spins, including one of my own, and folks falling off the pace. Dennis once again proved his skills winning on Sat and fighting back from a huge deficit on Sunday after being baulked by another competitor's spin. Teran's progress continues to impress and I'm in the garage today starting to prepare for another chance at Seattle.

Terran also set the lap record in Sunday's Race. I'm really proud of him. Saturday was definitely a cluster with the stewards DQ'ing his qualifying times and an engine swap. Looking forward to Seattle.
