New Points Structure & Race Length

MOTION: To change the points structure for the US Majors Tour Events as follows: Points are awarded to the top 20
finishers (first through last) in each race as follows: 25, 21, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. Harris/

MOTION: To accept 3.1.1.E.2 requiring that at least one race of a Majors shall be a minimum of 45 miles in length.

Since in FV you will need 46 points to qualify, with the new point structure with 6 race results in 3 weekends you will need to finish 13th or better and clear with 2 points to spare.

The first race will only be 20 minutes, but can be extended to 30 if those in charge agree.

Interesting that they will be using 2013 points to qualify the drivers in 2014 with an inflated points system.
