Has anyone had their physicals completed through Kaiser in the last year for their racing license renewal?
If so, would you please e-mail me directly at: fvraceri@cox.net
Much appreciated. Dietmar Quixote Racing

Dietmar
I tried once and they declined to do it at Kaiser. Ive heard of others going to independent clinics to get it done but dont have any referals for that. If you have any success let me know!
Best Ian

I don't have a copy in front of me but there have been doctor advertisements in the Wheel.
Everyone should look at the new GCR for med requirements. The rules have been relaxed a bit and most folks can get a multi year license.

Some say it's because of liability. Who would have guessed? I've never had an issue and given my history, that's really saying something. On a better note, I have just successfully completed my nuclear exercise stress test and am cleared to drive. woopee, now all I have to do is earn the money to pay SF's entry fees.

The short of the long version is that one is entitled to one physical per year with Kaiser. I have filed a grievance and am waiting to hear back. I want to thank you for the reference to the Kaiser site. My Primary Care physician asked the supervisor if she could fill out my medical form and the answer was: we are not capable of measuring pulse after exercise!
I have also contacted Occupational medicine- they will do physicals for a driver's license. Still on hold there as I was told that they would have to check with their supervisor also.
Will keep all informed.
Once again, thanks .
