All the rims are coming from H&H. They are importing them from Brazil. I have not the slightest idea what they will cost, but I don't see us having too many options. We all need these rims. Everybody that offers them gets them from the same source.

I have been informed that Brian McCarthy was not able to get all the wheels that he had hoped for. The shipment was not as large as was expected. I guess we will have to wait and see what developes.

Do these wheels have safety beads? We have trouble mounting our tires on the wheels with safety beads.
Welcome to the group, hope to see you again.

Yup, the new wheels have safety beads, but I've noticed some of the factory wheels have them as well. I've discovered this recently and apparently the problem is not with the safety beads. It's with the wheel diameter. After buffing the rubber off the inside of the sealing lip, right down to the steel bead gets the tire to seat. The new wheels are too big and the tire requires a little massage. This has been told to me and I've yet to confirm it, first hand. In my experience, the american racers will seat around 95 lbs/square inch. HUGE! But, if massaged apparently, will seat around 70lbs. My tire guy has had one tire at 135 lbs and the d**ned thing refused to seat, let alone make a divot in the shop ceiling. if you don't believe me, I'll send you my wheel/tire (at your cost) and you can find out for yourself. eyemcanadian

Scott;
Don't need to convice me. Mace Gjerman had to go higher than that to get some new ARs onto the chromie wheels. I don't seem to have any trouble with my rims, but they are originals ;D
