I race a vintage Vee and am interested in a restraint system. I am tending towards a HANS.
Do you use a system? Which one? How do you like it?
Will a HANS fit in a Vee? My helmet just about rests aginst the fire wall and I don't know if I could use a HANS. Does anyone have a HANS I could borrow for a few days to see if it will fit?
Thanks Dick Ryan

Ryan
The only one that I know that uses a HANS device is Dave Morss. He drives a Mysterian. The only other person that uses a head and neck device is Ron Wake, his is a Hutchens device. I couldn't tell you about the Hans, but the Hutchens would give you no other problem except you may need assistance hooking it up when you get in the car. You can get in touch with Dave through Ron Chuck.

Colin Cross also uses a HANS. I think he uses the 40 degree model. I am thinking of getting one myself as well

Thanks for the help, I will contact them.
This list has a weird deal. My first name is Richard and I normally use my nickname. However, when I post my nickname this system changes it to "thingy". I guess it thinks my nickname is an obsene word.
I'm not usually called "thingy Ryan".

Dick;
I am taking the chance on this, considering the forum, but I am giving "Dick-pen-sation" to your name.
The censored words came with the board and I have now made a correction.
