OK Guys!
I will admit that circustances beyond my control have kept me off the grid, but what is everybody else's excuse?
(Sean, you are excused from this one as I know what is going on)
So I will be at Thill, who else will be?

Ron will be there. I think we will have a good size group for this race. I only hope it won't be too much over 100 degrees. I know of at least 10 others. We are the manditory driver's meeting group for this race. Noon Friday. My excuse no license, physical at end of month. Car not ready. July at T-hill. You pick.

The schedule for us on Sat. is really slow. Anyone have any suggestion for all the time we have? I'm sure there is something we could do.

Brudda Bruce;
How about a Casino tour, led by yer own sweet self?
Or we could play a game of "Fizzball" (Slow pitch softball played with cheap cans of beer rather than a ball).
Then there is always an "8 Track skeet shoot".
BTW, both Jeff and myself are planning on running, as well as Mr. Swanson (Yes, TWO Vipers on the track at once!)

I'm planning to bring the Anduril and I'm trying to get Dennis Andrade to come down. With a test day on the 8th and two races, who could refuse?
How about a Bar-b-que after the Race on Sat.?

Sounds good to me. Who is bringing the BBQ pit and what should each of us bring?

BRM Engneering will host the meat and fire if everyone will bring a side dish or beverage. I'll rely on the entry list to determine volumes prior to the race.

Just saw the entry list and the field count is good, but it could be better. I'm thinking that the racing will be intense all through the field. Here's hoping that the Temperture is not too hot.

I know of two additional drivers intending on making the show, Mr. Bloles and Mr. Swanson (So now Norm gets to run as a driver AND as a car owner).

I'd love to participate Brian but I have no means to make my usual batch of chili to contribute, perhaps we should think instead of trying to book the banquet room again at the Mexican place...beside they have AIR CONDITIONING!!!
BTW, Jeff's Car is ready and on the trailer, mine will go on tomorrow and we are both planning on testing on Thursday.

I mentioned the BBQ to Ricardo and he said to count him in and he will relay the message to Mike Miller. Don Manthe said he is in also.

Well the BBQ was a bust as not enough showed interest. The same could not be said of the first race. Blake Tatum took off and left everyone, it seemed like it was going to be a cake walk until Kevin Malkin decided to start driving. He and Brian McCarthy hooked up and were soon reeling Blake back in. In the end it was the draft that decided the outcome. They came out of turn 15, Blake, Kevin and Brian. Kevin pulled out with Brian right behind. Brian then made his move and sling shot by them both for the win. Kevin 2nd and Blake third. The rest of the field came in Ron Wake, Bryan Bartlett with the same draft move over Don Manthe by .02 sec., Martin Cameron who drove his you know what off until the engine decided it was holding too much oil had to back off the last two laps was right on Bryan's tail. Pat McDowell, Jeff Canfield and Russell Meagher. Russ as soon as he gets an engine will definitely be challenging the front of the pack.
The second race was not as exciting as the first. I have to admit I missed part of the start. Blake came in with a clutch adjustment problem, Bryan Bartlett had his rear cowling flapping and was black flagged to get it removed. Jeff Canfield didn't start as his motor started to knock at the end of the first race and decided not to risk further damage. There was a prety good race going on for third. Ricardo Jose Garcia, Dick Gordon and Ron Wake. Ricardo did very well until he had a slight bobble in turn 3 and dropped out of the hunt. The order of finish was Brian McCarthy, Kevin Malkin, Dick Gordon, Ron Wake, Ricardo, Martin, Bryan,Pat, Russ, Don, Blake, and Kevin Gordon.
A side note Martin now leads Jeff 46 to 36.

I love the website! As for that first race, I am still searching for a picture or video of that finish cause I'm still not convinced that Brian was ahead of me at the line. It was a fun race. I hope I can make it out more this year. Kevin
