So since we are all running together I thought I would throw down the oven mitt to all you Water cooled guys in regards to the culinary arts.
Since it is Sears Point I will be doing up two pots of my Famous Chili (For the 2nd Annual . C.G. Cameron Memorial Chili feed), one for REAL RACERS and one for...everybody else...and I want to challange your champion in this arena.
Winner gets braggin' rights for a year!
Anyone brave enough to STEP UP??

DerElf What a great idea! I will start checking to see if any Ford drivers can cook. Most of the time, we just sip wine and eat brie. Maybe nibble on some broccoli. dave

We get two for one again. Sears can't get any sweeter.

Ok, I guess the gauntlet's been thrown eh? How about a drivers meeting WITH chili cookoff.
Since I like cheeses other than brie as a rule, I guess I'll cook up some of my truly famous and always memorable Mach 7 chili. I can only make it in small batches anymore, I don't have access to the 25 gallon pot I used to use. In any case, bring Nomex.
There better not be any beans in that chili mister, or there's gonna be a lynchin'.
Perhaps Harm and Marty could gather the clans for the meeting? Beer and chili?

Greg;
I usually do the stuff for MORTAL MEN Con Carne (With beans) and the one for racing GIANTS Con Queso (Beanless). If you have done yours in 25 gallon pots I am now intimidated!
I think the idea of a meeting of the drivers over chili and beer is appropriate as well. Harm can bring the brie to sprinkle onto the chili!

OK guys, this is starting to get very serious. The Con Queso sounds like it will do major harm to HARM! I prefer a different cheese to be sprinkled on top. Brie is for the pre party. If we eat the con carne, will we fail the fuel test? dave

It is a distinct possibility! I was once accused of trying to slow down the competition with my mix, I told 'em the octane booster should help 'em.

Sorry to all who had contemplated indulging in a bit of Mach 7 chili, but work got in the way of my usual "get 'r done" work ethic. In any case there's still time to do it later this year, maybe at the season finale. I'm still open to hosting the meeting at our pit space, and we'll have plenty of fluids.
See ya.

Done and done, it is now moved to the final event at Thunderhill. Just as well as I have had the same work problems getting in the way of everything, including my ability to appear on the grid!
