I am wondering who and what cars will be ready for 2007 racing or testing in FST. It seem's that there are a few development projects and conversions going on out there that are not being spoken or written about on this site. It would be helpful to know where these cars are planning on participating so we can try and get some like cars out on the track at the same time. If you have a car conversion or are building a purpose built car, it would be great to hear from you on this forum. I would like to plan some get togethers and or potluck dinners for us this season. Even if your car is not ready, let's get together and be counted, finally......

Sounds like a great idea. I have a couple of friends that are on the fence regarding FST. They think the class has great potential, however, they are waiting to see if it ever takes off. I am sure if we get some participation, the class will gain momentum.

Scott,
Thanks for weighing in. Where are you out of? Glad to see you involved and making progress. Do you think you will be ready this season? Perhaps you can remind your friends of the Wright Bros. Someone has to start the trend, others will always follow......

There are three Evolutions in the LA area ready for the '07 season; Lou, Eric and JC. I think Lou and Eric are registered on this board, so they should get in contact to set up a few race dates for '07.

This would be a great opportunity for any one interested in my DB1 to buy it and start learning to drive it well before the season starts. dave

Scott,
Good deal. Glad to hear another nor-cal car is being made ready. Are you going to concentrate on T-hill for testing, racing etc?

Bob, I guess it depends when the car is ready for testing as to where I will begin the process. I have plans for a pretty radical suspension design, so testing will be necessary. Is there any chance that we will be able to run with the FF/CF/FV group or are we stuck with the wings and things.

Scott,
For now, since we are or will be homologated as FS cars and have very small numbers to field(i hope at least some cars), we will have to run in the faster group. As we get some numbers, i believe we can present a performance/safety argument as to why we "should run" with the non-winged formula car group. Where we race (for now) should not deter us from getting this class going. It is simply a necessary part of our journey...
