I would like to find out how everyone thinks the opening weekend went. I want to make sure that if you have a problem with the FC's you feel free to talk about it.
Thanks Joe Riley FC #26
P.S. Bruce I know you wern't running so no picking on me just for fun.

For being one of the rookies and already having the experience driving with the FC's in drivers school I didn't have any problems. Unfortunately there was an incident with a FC and a FV during the first race. My opinion about this is that everyone didn't quite know what to expect under race conditions and Mike M. and Dan P. just found out the hard way what we had all discussed during the meeting the day before hand. For Laguna next weekend, everyone just make sure that you play things smart cause Laguna has much more walls for people to hit XP and have fun! Terran S. FV #86 P.S. Joe what makes you think that will stop Bruce?

Joe,
I will keep an eye out for you and of course everyone else who is coming up behind me. If anyone has any issue with me at all, please come talk with me. I know I am slow, but working to get faster.

Joe, I'm also one of the rookies and ran with the C's in school so I felt comfortable in the race.. I must say that Mike M. is one of the more careful and polite drivers and we talked several times in school and at the double. What happened in the incident in 14 could have happened to any of us . I barely missed getting caught in 2 incidents in 5 at the first and at the end of the race. I believe we can run together .... P.I.R.F. Tim

While I have to agree that what "happened" on lap 3 of the first race could have happened to any of us... the fact is that the lack of experience on the closing speed differential and a lack of patience on the part of the overtaking driver caused this incidence. We have to make this work. Don't forget that it took a year or so after combining FF and FV run groups for us to learn to play well together. The FC guys are polite and we will learn to run well together, but I wonder how many of us can absorb a shunt like this and continue to race.
